Identify the check before supplying documents
Identity verification can be part of using a lottery service and withdrawing eligible funds, but a document request needs context. Ask which check is incomplete, why the information is needed and how to submit it securely. There is no universal list of documents or guaranteed completion time across services and markets.
This guide concerns verification requests, not the entire prize-collection process. Start with claiming winnings through a service if you need to identify who holds a ticket or owes a contractual prize.
Separate the reasons for a request
The familiar label KYC, or know your customer, can cover different questions. Establishing a person's identity is different from establishing ownership of a payment account. A source-of-funds question is different again. Providing a passport does not necessarily answer all three.
The Gambling Commission's verification guide explains rules for the online gambling businesses within its Great Britain scope. It distinguishes checks before gambling from additional information that may be needed later for legal obligations. That is a specific regulatory context, not a worldwide promise that every late request is invalid.
| Request category | Question to ask | Useful record |
|---|---|---|
| Identity or age | Which details could not be confirmed? | Exact request and account details requiring correction |
| Address | Which address and document period apply? | Requested period and submission instructions |
| Payment ownership | Which deposit or withdrawal method is being checked? | Relevant payment reference, without full card data |
| Source of funds | What activity or information needs clarification? | The stated requirement and permitted evidence |
| Prize-specific claim | Is this the service's check or the organiser's claim requirement? | Product, draw and claim reference |
Use this table to clarify a request; it is not a list of documents that everyone must upload.
Before uploading anything
Open the service through an address you already trust, rather than following an unexpected message's upload link. Confirm the secure submission route with the provider. Ask whether a document must show every field and whether any redaction is permitted; do not alter evidence in a way the provider has not accepted.
Never post identity documents in a public review, player chat or this portal's contact channel. Do not disclose passwords, one-time login codes or wallet recovery phrases. If an email refers to a transaction you cannot identify, resolve that discrepancy before sending sensitive material.
Before submitting evidence, review protecting your lottery account, including the recovery email and the genuine login route.
LottoPark's terms describe possible identity, address, payment-ownership and relevant financial checks, with documents supplied through its specified secure route. This is the operator's declaration, not evidence that we submitted documents or tested its review process.
Keep a verification timeline
Record when the request arrived, what was requested, when you submitted it and any acknowledgement. If support later asks for a replacement, record the reason and whether the request changed. This helps separate a missing attachment from a new requirement.
Ask for the current stage, the next required action and any published service estimate. Do not infer that an account is fully verified because a deposit worked or the profile displays a general verification badge. Conversely, an additional check does not itself prove that the service intends to withhold a valid balance.
If the request is unclear, a focused question is useful: “Which requirement remains unresolved, which transaction does it concern, and where should I submit the permitted evidence?” You can ask for an explanation without sending unnecessary additional records.
If verification blocks a withdrawal
Keep the withdrawal reference separate from the document-submission reference. The withdrawal timeline guide explains why an operator's review clock and the receiving bank's delivery clock can start at different points.
If explanations conflict or the same material is repeatedly requested without clarification, preserve the correspondence and use the service's formal complaints route. The evidence-and-escalation guide helps prepare a factual record. The correct external route depends on the entity and market; this page does not declare the legality of an individual request or guarantee release of funds.
