Latvijas Loto’s Kopspēle combines shared lottery participation with choices that need separate checks: the pool you join, the shares you buy and any individual additional games. A basket selection should not be treated as a complete statement of those rights.
This review focuses on Kopspēle through the iLOTO service. The iLOTO conditions visibly take effect from 17 July 2026. We read them and the public help on 7 October 2026. No help-page edition date was visible in the material read, and we did not open an account, buy shares or observe a customer’s accepted terms.
Identify the pool and the fraction you own
The official Kopspēle explanation describes Eurojackpot and Vikinglotto pools divided into equal shares, with winnings allocated proportionally to ownership. Its number combinations are generated using Ātrspēle, the random-selection function. Džokers and Džokers 7 remain individual participation rather than part of the pool.
A bigger collection of combinations and a bigger ownership fraction are different quantities. When comparing offers, describe both rather than reducing the comparison to the headline prize or the number of combinations. An extra share changes your fraction in a particular pool; it does not make you the sole owner of the whole collection.
| Detail to identify | What it tells you | Mistake to avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Specific pool | Which collection your shares concern | Treating the same pool type as the same pool |
| Combination count | The collection being shared | Confusing coverage with personal ownership |
| Total shares and shares purchased | Your fraction of that collection | Reading a share price as the price of the whole pool |
| Additional-game choices | Which individual entries need a separate record | Folding everything on the receipt into one shared result |
This is our comparison framework, not a current price list. Check the actual offer and resulting record together. Our syndicate-shares versus individual-entries guide explains how to compare shared participation with an entry you own individually.
Several shares still belong to one pool
The Kopspēle help says a purchase of several same-type shares is kept within one pool, rather than split across pools. If an existing pool lacks enough shares, a new pool can be opened, subject to the pause on opening new pools. During that pause, availability is limited to already open pools.
That matters when you remember a pool from an earlier visit. The type label is a starting point for comparison, not a substitute for the actual pool identity and selections. Ask which collection the completed purchase concerns rather than assuming that every offer with the same label refers to what you saw earlier.
Consider a hypothetical player, Lina, who wants five shares and sees that an earlier pool has only two available. Before making a decision, she needs to distinguish “five shares from one pool” from a plan to combine several separate pools herself. Her record should identify the collection and fraction actually acquired. This example illustrates a comparison question; it is not an observed purchase or a statement of today’s inventory.
The basket is not a reservation
The conditions say shares are not reserved in the basket or during payment. If payment confirmation arrives after another participant has acquired them, the whole coupon is not registered and the participation fee is returned.
Do not use an earlier basket screenshot as your only evidence of the final outcome. Keep the relevant payment reference, coupon identifier and latest status together. If something looks inconsistent, ask about that particular coupon rather than submitting an identical purchase repeatedly.
The general FAQ describes “Mani kuponi” as the place to follow registered ticket statuses and results. It separately identifies saved preparations and subscriptions.
This gives you a useful vocabulary for support: a saved preparation, a basket selection and a registered record are not descriptions to interchange casually. Quote the label you actually see and identify the draw concerned. Do not share passwords, full payment-card information or identity documents in a public complaint.
Cancellation can affect parts of a receipt differently
The conditions say a pool may be cancelled if not fully sold by the sales cutoff. If cancelled, its shares do not participate and the pool fee is refunded. The help separately says validity requires all shares to be sold. These formulations do not establish an automatic outcome for every unsold pool.
For a receipt covering several components, the relevant questions are more precise than “Is my ticket cancelled?”
| Component of the receipt | Reviewed distinction | What to ask about |
|---|---|---|
| Cancelled Kopspēle draw | That pool participation is excluded | Which pool and draw were cancelled? |
| Džokers or Džokers 7 bought alongside it | Pool cancellation does not cancel those entries | Which individual draw remains on my record? |
| Other draws on a multi-draw pool receipt | They continue if their pool shares are fully sold | What is the status of each remaining draw? |
The conditions defer the cancelled-pool refund until after the receipt’s last draw, under their referenced prize-payment provisions. We have not established a bank-arrival day.
An apparent delay therefore needs a component-by-component enquiry, not an assumption that every item ended together. Keep the cancelled pool, any continuing additional game and remaining draws on separate lines in your own notes. The add-ons, multipliers and extra-draws guide helps identify what a separate game adds to an order.
Questions readers ask
Does paying for more combinations mean I own the whole potential prize?
Start with the ownership fraction recorded for the pool, not only its combination count. Compare shares purchased with total shares and keep individual additional games separate. This review does not turn a pool’s advertised prize into a guaranteed personal payout.
Can I rely on a printout alone to claim a prize?
The iLOTO conditions say a coupon-data printout alone is not equivalent to an original lottery receipt and cannot by itself support a prize claim or payment. Keep it as supporting information and ask which account or claim record applies to your participation.
Does this review establish the complete rules for every game?
No. It examines the documented Kopspēle mechanics and help. Complete current Eurojackpot and Vikinglotto game-rule editions, individual eligibility, licence verification, tax treatment and payment performance were not established. Use the applicable game rules and actual participation record for questions outside this scope.
