Loterija Slovenije's gaming-account balance does not, by itself, tell you what a withdrawal will cost. The useful distinction is where the money came from: unused deposits and funds from winnings have different documented withdrawal treatment.
This review examines ordinary withdrawals from the operator's online gaming account; account closure has separate provisions. It is especially relevant before loading money you might want to return to your bank. A deposit, a ticket purchase, a credited win and a withdrawal request describe different transactions; adding them into one balance can hide the distinction that determines the charge.
What the account rules say about unused deposits
The consolidated gaming-account rules, Article 16, say deposited funds cannot be requested back to the player's transaction account for at least 45 days from deposit.
The official gaming-account help separately describes transfers of funds from winnings as free. It states a 10% charge, with a EUR 0.50 minimum, for funds not originating from paid winnings. These are the operator's published explanations, not results from a withdrawal we performed.
| Source of the money | Documented distinction | Question to resolve before requesting |
|---|---|---|
| Money deposited into the account | At least 45 days before requesting its return | Which deposit and date does this amount relate to? |
| Funds from paid winnings | Help describes the transfer as free | Is this amount classified as funds from winnings? |
| Mixed or unclear account credits | This review establishes no allocation order | How will the requested amount be classified? |
Do not decide the classification simply by choosing a label yourself. The third row is an unanswered account-specific question, not an extra fee category invented by this review. Our lottery service-fees guide explains why the transaction being charged matters as much as the displayed percentage.
Compare the fee on the same amount
Consider a deliberately hypothetical player, Maja, comparing separate examples of a EUR 50 balance. In one example it is unused deposited money; in another it is funds from winnings already credited and eligible for transfer. The same displayed amount does not make those examples equivalent.
The calculations below isolate the described withdrawal fee. They use invented amounts, are not a live quote and establish no tax treatment, bank charge or eligibility decision.
| Illustrative amount and origin | Fee calculation in this example | Amount after this fee alone |
|---|---|---|
| EUR 20 unused deposit | 10% × EUR 20 = EUR 2 | EUR 18 |
| EUR 50 unused deposit | 10% × EUR 50 = EUR 5 | EUR 45 |
| EUR 100 unused deposit | 10% × EUR 100 = EUR 10 | EUR 90 |
| EUR 50 eligible funds from winnings | No transfer fee in the reviewed help | EUR 50 |
If Maja made the hypothetical deposit only 12 days ago, the timing question remains even after she calculates a charge. A percentage answers how a fee is measured; it does not establish that a request can be made now. Conversely, the existence of a waiting period does not tell her that the later transfer is free.
This separates two comparison questions that often get collapsed: when unused money can be requested back and what charge applies to that transaction. It also avoids treating spending money on more entries as an equivalent alternative to returning it. A further ticket purchase introduces a new transaction and an uncertain result.
A withdrawal request changes which funds remain available
Under Article 16, submitting a request removes the requested funds from your disposal inside the gaming account. Bank availability is a separate question.
Keep the amount requested separate from the amount still available for other activity. If a balance changes after a request, the practical enquiry is whether that change represents the requested transfer, another transaction or a correction. Do not infer a new loss or a completed bank credit solely from the new total.
This review does not promise a bank-arrival day or test the payment process. Our guide to withdrawal limits and waiting times explains how account withdrawal conditions affect the transfer process.
The exact EUR 5 boundary needs clarification
For ordinary requests, the PDF says a EUR 5 minimum; the help says above EUR 5. Exactly EUR 5 acceptance remains unconfirmed.
If that is your actual amount, ask the operator which current rule applies and what the interface permits. The examples above deliberately avoid this boundary. A comparison article should expose a material ambiguity rather than choose an answer from whichever sentence appears more convenient.
What was checked and what remains unknown
We read the documents on 7 October 2026. The PDF is a consolidated text dated 17 June 2025; the help shows no edition date. Those dates do not establish when each withdrawal provision was introduced or which edition a particular customer accepted.
No account was opened and no funding, purchase or withdrawal was tested. The review covers published account treatment, not complete international eligibility, game-specific prize conditions, independent licence verification, taxation or payment performance. Mixed-balance allocation and the exact minimum remain questions requiring a current individual answer.
Frequently asked questions
Can I immediately return unused deposited money to my bank?
No. Check the deposit-date condition above; do not read a visible balance as permission for an immediate return.
Are all gaming-account withdrawals free?
No. The help distinguishes free transfers of funds from winnings from charged transfers of other funds. Identify the money's origin before comparing costs.
Is exactly EUR 5 enough to request a withdrawal?
We could not confirm acceptance at the exact boundary. Check the current rule and request screen with the operator before relying on that amount.
