Lottobay's currently linked terms, dated April 2022, distinguish arranging an entry from the state lottery company's acceptance. Identify what your confirmation actually confirms, then connect it to the right draw and retained record. This is a document-based review of that evidence route, rather than a tested checkout or payout assessment.
Which company and documents does this review cover?
The current homepage links the general terms through its footer. We read those public pages on 6 October 2026; the terms still display April 2022. A recent reading date does not turn that text into a new contract. The version accepted by a customer was not observed, and we do not present its older prices, limits or withdrawal conditions as verified current rules.
The legal notice identifies lottobay GmbH in Hamburg, with declared register number HRB 103884. The GGL whitelist, edition 2 October 2026, lists that company and domain under commercial lottery mediation in Germany. We reuse that register reading from 5 October; its territorial and product category does not establish worldwide availability or guarantee payment.
The FAQ describes adults resident in Germany as its audience. The scope here is ordinary individual entries and the different confirmation wording for syndicates. A catalogue containing another product is not evidence that all products have the same contract or receipt sequence.
What does a confirmation establish?
Sections 4.3–4.4 of the dated general terms separate forwarding an order from the lottery company's accepted and confirmed contract. Lottobay receives that acceptance and then emails the participation confirmation. Its role as intermediary should therefore be kept distinct from the lottery company's role as organiser.
The FAQ describes an individual-entry email giving the recorded rows and ticket numbers and saying whether transmission succeeded. For syndicates, it describes a draw-day message with played rows and confirmation of forwarding and lottery acceptance. Read the particular message, not just its subject line. An acknowledgement, a transmission notice and an accepted entry answer different questions.
| Record you have | Useful question | What to connect it with |
|---|---|---|
| Saved selection | What did I intend to request? | Product, chosen draw and any later changes |
| Order or payment record | What request and payment can I identify? | The corresponding ticket or share reference |
| Transmission message | What does it say was forwarded? | The named lottery and acceptance evidence |
| Participation confirmation | What accepted entry does it describe? | Draw date, numbers and retained receipt |
| Syndicate message | Does it concern an acknowledgement or played rows? | Your share and the matching group entry |
This table is a checking framework, not a claim that every customer sees those exact screen labels. Our ticket-proof guide explains why payment and participation evidence should be kept separately.
Who keeps the entry evidence?
The general terms describe trustee custody of playing receipts and collection of prizes. Section 4.7 separately provides access to virtual receipts in the ticket depot for at least 12 months. Those are different functions; online access does not demonstrate physical delivery of an original ticket.
The public FAQ places submitted, paid tickets in the depot and describes participation-status labels. Keep the actual status with the draw it names, rather than treating a general account page as evidence for an unspecified draw. A saved image can help preserve what was displayed; ask which underlying record it represents. See our ownership and custody guide.
| Question for support | Why it is useful | Record to preserve |
|---|---|---|
| Which draw and lottery does this reference cover? | Avoids matching the right numbers to the wrong draw | The response identifying both |
| Was forwarding followed by lottery acceptance? | Locates the stage needing clarification | The linked confirmation or reason it is unavailable |
| Where is the corresponding receipt held? | Separates account display from underlying custody | The identified record and access instructions |
| Does this message concern my individual ticket or a group share? | Avoids mixing participation models | Ticket or share reference and group details |
| Is any further claim action required? | Separates a notice from a completed payment | Required action and applicable deadline |
A missing message: how would you investigate?
Suppose, hypothetically, you intend to enter a Saturday draw. You retain a payment record, but the only email you can find mentions transmission without clearly identifying acceptance. This is an original example, not a failure we observed at Lottobay.
Build a short timeline from your existing records. Put the intended draw, submitted request, payment and received message alongside one another. Do not substitute the email's arrival time for the time an entry was accepted. If a later draw appears in a record, keep that discrepancy visible rather than silently relabelling it.
The FAQ describes cart entries passing a cutoff being directed to a following possible draw. We do not reuse a timetable from the old terms as today's deadline. Our draw-cutoff guide helps distinguish the intended deadline from the draw actually recorded.
Use support through the official site to connect your references. Preserve the reply; ask for the missing stage rather than buying another entry to diagnose it. Our missed-entry guide separates an individual transmission question from disruption of an official draw.
Frequently asked questions
Is a saved ticket the same as an accepted entry?
No. Establish whether the record reflects an intention, an instruction or accepted participation. The relevant draw and linked confirmation matter more than a screenshot of selected numbers alone.
Must I receive a paper ticket?
This review found a documented electronic-record and custody route, not an observed paper-delivery promise. Identify the retained receipt before asking for a particular format. We did not inspect a customer's depot or trustee-held original.
Does a prize notice mean the money has reached my bank?
No. Keep identification of a winning entry, any required claim action and actual receipt of funds separate. Our prize-claim guide explains the questions to ask; this review guarantees no payout date, monetary threshold or claim outcome.
