Which purchase controls the extra prize?
Before comparing ticket books, connect each ticket to its own purchase. A total shown in your spending history is useful for budgeting, but it is not automatically the unit used to calculate every part of a prize.
This review follows the legacy RSL Art Union domain to the terms it now presents. It addresses a narrow purchasing question: if you buy separate books, which purchase should you examine when considering an additional prize? It does not treat a charity prize draw as the same product as a courier entry in Powerball or EuroMillions.
The channel and the specific calculation unit
The observed legacy terms address redirected to Dream Home Art Union. Its general terms identify Returned and Services League of Australia (Queensland Branch), ABN 79 902 601 713. Sections 20–23 distinguish draw categories and associate Bonus Gold with the individual winning Ticket Book, rather than aggregate purchases. The eligibility definition excludes connected people and USA, UK or EU residents, with an exception for tickets bought in any draw before 25 May 2018. Individual eligibility is unconfirmed.
These are documentary observations, not an independent register check or a tested purchase. The customer-accepted edition and the rules attached to a particular draw remain unresolved. A legacy redirect establishes this observed channel connection; it does not establish that every older product, receipt or account has identical conditions.
Make a book-level record
Keep a separate row for every accepted purchase. The aim is to avoid replacing the original transaction structure with a new grouping created by your spreadsheet.
| Your record | What to preserve | Question it helps answer |
|---|---|---|
| Draw selection | Accepted draw identifier and applicable rules | Which product did this purchase concern? |
| Purchase record | Book identifier, amount and acceptance evidence | Was this one book or several separate books? |
| Ticket allocation | Tickets linked to each book | Which book contains the ticket being checked? |
| Additional-prize wording | Conditions saved for that purchase | Which unit does the extra-prize calculation use? |
| Later correspondence | The explanation and calculation received | Can you reconcile it to the original record? |
Our ticket bundles and minimum lines guide helps separate basket size, ticket count and the product's chosen calculation unit.
A deliberately invented two-book example
Suppose Priya creates a practice worksheet with two fictional purchases, labelled Book A and Book B. She assigns A a budget of AUD 40 and B a budget of AUD 60. These invented amounts are not quoted book options, accepted entries or a claim outcome.
Her combined practice budget is AUD 100. That arithmetic answers “How much did I allocate?” It does not answer “Which book contained the ticket?” If the example later labels a ticket as belonging to A, her next step is to locate A's own purchase record and saved conditions. Combining both budgets changes the reporting view; it does not by itself change the original purchase.
| Practice view | Invented amount | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Book A | AUD 40 | One fictional purchase record |
| Book B | AUD 60 | A second fictional purchase record |
| Combined budget | AUD 100 | The sum of the practice amounts |
Do not turn this example into a promised prize amount. A real decision needs the selected book, the ticket allocation and the applicable draw document, including any conditions that qualify the extra prize.
Keep entitlement and receipt separate
An advertised component, an accepted purchase, a result and a completed transfer are different evidence stages. Save them separately, then ask which document explains the transition between them. A calculation can be internally consistent while still leaving the recipient, identification, timing or delivery question unanswered.
For a claim, our lottery winnings guide provides a document checklist. For an overseas purchase, use the cross-border participation checklist before assuming that website access establishes eligibility.
Questions before choosing this channel
Should I add separate books together when checking an extra prize?
Start from the ticket's own purchase record and the rule identified above. A combined spending total is a budget calculation, not a substitute for checking the relevant calculation unit.
Does this review confirm that my country or older account is accepted?
No. The stated exclusions and exception require account-specific examination. Country eligibility, older account treatment and the exact customer-accepted document were not independently established.
Does a readable terms page confirm a completed prize payment?
No. No account, order, claim or transfer was tested. Current licensing, beneficial ownership, selected checkout charges, physical custody and individual outcomes remain unverified.
