TIPOS review: stopping repeated bets and cancelling existing entries

Identify the existing purchase and any continuing instruction separately. A cutoff calculation, attempted cancellation, recorded outcome and possible prize claim answer different questions.

Before asking TIPOS to “stop my subscription”, identify whether you mean existing entries or instructions for future entries. A cancellation request and a prize claim answer different questions; one deadline should not be substituted for the other.

This review examines TIPOS’s Slovak number-lottery channel. Its number-lottery plan identifies TIPOS, národná lotériová spoločnosť, a. s. as operator and shows approval on 13 March 2026 and effect from 18 March 2026. The documents were read on 7 October 2026 UTC. Individual account outcomes and the edition accepted by a particular customer were not tested.

First distinguish the two kinds of instruction

Article 9.12 describes finite consecutive-period subscriptions; article 9.13 describes automatic repeated bets, stoppable by the player or specified events, including insufficient funds and limits. A stopped instruction should not be assumed to restart merely because money is added.

The practical question is whether the record describes a group of entries or continuing permission to create entries. The word “subscription” in a conversation may conceal that difference. Write down the actual product wording before deciding what you want removed. The same remembered numbers do not answer whether a finite purchase and an ongoing instruction coexist.

What you want to understandRecord to identifyQuestion that stays separate
A purchase covering several drawsIts first and last included periodsWhether another recurring instruction exists
Future automatic participationThe particular continuing instructionWhat has already been purchased
An unwanted existing entryIts acceptance record and cancellation outcomeWhether future instructions have stopped
A possible prizeThe relevant entry and claim routeWhether the purchase could once have been cancelled

This is our reading framework, not a reproduction of an account screen. It avoids treating “stop” as a single operation. Someone who wants no further spending needs clarity about future authority; someone disputing an existing entry needs clarity about that entry. Those concerns can exist together without having the same outcome.

The broader subscription and renewal guide explains how recurring authority differs from participation already recorded. There is no need to place another bet to discover which description fits an existing record.

The cancellation window is not simply “before the draw”

For LOTO and Eurojackpot, article 9.16 allows cancellation within 15 minutes inclusive, subject to draw and sales cutoffs. A subscription must be cancelled before its first included period, unless otherwise provided; the same purchase channel must be used. Stakes paid by the operator as winnings or competition awards are excluded. Cancellation requires central-system registration. Article 12.10 places the online option in the e-ticket detail during the permitted interval, with changed status after success.

These conditions should be read together. A later draw does not turn a short cancellation period into an all-day right. Conversely, remembering an elapsed-time allowance does not establish that the relevant sales cutoff is still ahead. Identify the purchase time and the applicable cutoff independently, without borrowing a schedule from another game or channel.

A hypothetical example: Marek compares two clocks

Imagine Marek is reviewing a hypothetical LOTO purchase accepted at 20:00. For this illustration only, suppose its applicable sales cutoff is 20:09. An elapsed-time calculation gives 20:15, but the earlier boundary is 20:09. These invented times are arithmetic inputs, not a published TIPOS draw schedule or evidence that any request succeeded.

Hypothetical observationUseful conclusionConclusion it does not establish
Acceptance is recorded at 20:00There is a reference time for elapsed minutesThat every later action is still permitted
The assumed cutoff is 20:09The two boundaries are differentThat the later 20:15 calculation overrides it
Marek presses a controlAn action was attemptedThat cancellation was registered successfully
A later entry still appearsIts own status needs checkingThat all future instructions remain active

Now suppose Marek’s notes also mention a finite group of draws. He should identify the first included period rather than assume each remaining draw can be removed separately. If he remembers a recurring instruction too, he should keep that record alongside the finite purchase, not overwrite one description with the other.

This example does not establish partial cancellation, a refund, restoration or a live interface. Its purpose is to prevent a plausible calculation from being presented as a completed action.

A returned stake is not automatically a bank payment

The account terms describe returned stakes going to the player account, subject to the terms and account blocking. The page presents a base edition effective 15 November 2024 and amendments through number 5, effective 5 August 2026.

If a record shows a returned amount, identify its destination before describing it as money received at a bank. A cancellation outcome, account credit and bank transfer are separate observations. This review supplies no personal withdrawal timetable or guarantee. Its selected account conditions are not an exhaustive eligibility assessment, and an accessible Slovak page does not establish worldwide availability.

Do not confuse claim time with cancellation time

The public FAQ gives 60 days from the relevant draw for a claim, and 60 days after the final subscription draw for all prizes in that subscription period. That is claim wording, not an extension of cancellation rights.

Preserve the entry’s identity when asking which period applies. Our ticket evidence guide explains why the record of a particular participation matters independently of remembered selections. No visible FAQ edition was established. Sports, casino, SMS-specific procedures, prices, taxes, complete game rules and individual payout performance remain outside this review. No account, registration, purchase or instruction change was performed.

Frequently asked questions

Can I treat a subscription and a repeated bet as the same thing?

First match the actual wording and record. An everyday label should not decide whether you are discussing existing entries or continuing authority.

Does pressing cancel prove that my entry was removed?

An attempted action and its successful recorded outcome are different observations. Keep the entry reference and the resulting status together.

Does the 60-day claim period give me more time to cancel?

No. A claim concerns a possible prize; cancellation concerns the participation itself. Keep the two questions and their applicable periods separate.
