Xotto review: orders, lottery acceptance and electronic receipts

Xotto's currently linked AGB is dated 1 February 2021. It separates an account and mediation order from lottery acceptance; the emailed playing receipt follows the lottery organisation's confirmation.

Xotto's currently linked terms, dated 1 February 2021, distinguish your account and mediation order from the lottery organisation's acceptance of an entry. The emailed playing receipt follows confirmation from the selected lottery organisation. This review explains that documented sequence; it does not certify every old condition as current.

Which company and market does this review cover?

The legal notice names Xotto Lottovermittlungsgesellschaft mbH, based in Elmshorn, matching the party in the AGB. The GGL whitelist, edition 2 October 2026, lists that company and xotto.de for commercial lottery mediation nationwide in Germany. That category concerns mediation; it is not worldwide eligibility or permission for every possible product.

We read the public documents on 6 October 2026. The AGB was accessible through the current homepage footer and still displayed 1 February 2021. Those are separate dates. No newer edition was found in this research; the customer's checkout version was not observed. No account, purchase or prize payment was tested.

When does an order become a lottery entry?

Sections 2–3 distinguish Xotto's mediation agreement from the customer's contract with a state lottery organisation. Account administration begins with successful registration. A specific order instructs Xotto to arrange participation; the reviewed agreement does not describe registration alone as entering a draw.

StageWhat the document describesWhat to establish next
Account registrationAn account-administration relationship with XottoWhich order and draw you actually requested
Final mediation orderYour instruction to arrange the selected participationWhether the play data was forwarded
Forwarded play dataAn offer to the selected lottery organisationWhether that organisation accepted it
Lottery acceptanceA separate lottery contract, confirmed to XottoThe organisation and accepted entry details
Emailed playing receiptXotto's notice after lottery confirmationWhether its draw and ticket match your intention

This sequence comes from sections 3.4, 6–9 of the dated document. An order can therefore be a valid instruction while the underlying lottery contract still needs confirmation. Sections 8.3–8.4 describe the emailed receipt as identifying the lottery organisation and being sent only after its confirmation. A screen showing that you submitted an order answers an earlier question.

Check the actual accepted draw rather than inferring it from a countdown or a saved selection. Our draw-cutoff guide explains how to keep the intended deadline, submitted request and accepted draw together.

What do the email and trustee records prove?

The receipt described in section 8 contains participant and order details, the lottery names and ticket number. Section 12 separately describes a trustee keeping the electronic playing receipts issued by the lottery organisations, collecting prizes and allowing the participant to inspect the retained records.

An emailed Xotto receipt and a trustee-held electronic record thus have different roles. Neither should be rewritten as a courier delivering an original paper ticket. Identify the record, its issuer and the entitlement it supports before requesting a particular image or document.

RecordUseful questionLimit of that record
Cart or saved selectionWhat did I intend to order? It does not establish final submission
Order recordWhat participation did I instruct Xotto to arrange? It does not alone identify lottery acceptance
Xotto's emailed receiptWhich lottery and entry were confirmed?Check that it covers the disputed draw
Trustee's electronic receiptWhat lottery-issued record is retained for me?It is not evidence of paper delivery
Support responseWhat happened at the missing stage?Preserve its order and draw references

The ticket-proof guide distinguishes an order, payment and entry record; the ownership and custody guide helps map the party keeping the underlying evidence.

What should you ask when confirmation is missing?

Suppose, hypothetically, you request one entry for a Wednesday draw. Your order appears in the account, but you cannot find an emailed receipt identifying that draw. This is a hypothetical example, not an observed failure: the email may be missing, the lottery confirmation may be pending, or no underlying contract may have formed. The order screen alone does not distinguish them.

Ask support to connect the records:

  • Which order reference and intended draw are being checked?
  • Which lottery organisation received the play data, and did it accept it?
  • What accepted ticket or entry number and draw does the receipt show?
  • If an email is missing, how can its confirmed details be retrieved?
  • If no lottery contract formed, what notification and stake/fee treatment applies under the accepted terms?

Sections 9.5–9.6 of the reviewed AGB describe notification and return of the stake and fees when the lottery contract does not form. That wording is not a tested refund timeline. Use the customer-service route linked on Xotto's official site and preserve the response. See missed entries and cancelled draws for distinguishing transmission failure from an official draw disruption.

Frequently asked questions

Is my Xotto account proof that I entered a draw?

No. The reviewed document separates account administration, a specific mediation order and lottery acceptance. Look for the accepted entry and matching receipt, rather than treating registration as participation.

Is an order confirmation the same as the playing receipt?

Establish which record you received. The AGB's playing receipt follows the lottery organisation's confirmation and identifies that organisation. A record acknowledging your instruction may concern an earlier stage.

Does the GGL entry guarantee payment or availability abroad?

No. It establishes the listed company, domain, German territory and mediation category in that register edition. We have not converted old fees, monetary limits, withdrawal periods or payout language into verified current conditions. Confirm your accepted contract and product scope separately.
